Danish Modern Style
1960's Teak Clothes Brush/Valet with Eagle Medallion.
Manufactured and sold by Arthur Salm, Inc. in the late 1960's.
After surviving the Dachau Concentration Camp, Arthur Salm came to America and started designing and selling Danish Modern houseware pieces for everyday use. They were generally teak and/or stainless steel and often had a brass medallion somewhere on the piece. He sold them to companies which gave them out as gifts to customers and employees.
Brush is in v
ery good pre-owned condition. There are 3 small but noticeable nicks in wood (see last 3 photos). Bristles are in very good condition.
