Old upright bass I will describe to the best of ability. Believe it to be American made but I don’t believe it is a Kay. There is a back reinforcement that I don’t believe Kay basses had. Maybe a selmer? Plywood top back and sides and an Ebony fingerboard. Just had a new bridge made and a new tailpiece installed by a local luthier, as the old ones were completely unusable. No cracks or repairs that I can tell and I was told it is structurally Sound. One of the spots by the f hold near where the bridge sat is slightly sunken in. Plays nice with a low action. Body measures 1060mm. Local pickup only. Any other questions I am happy to answer.
