The Stagg EDB Electric Upright Bass is a 3/4 scale instrument, meaning a shorter fretboard and less physical space in between each note. This will appeal to the electric bassists already used to a standard scale electric bass. With the 3/4 scale, you'll have an easier time transitioning to the feel of the upright, and it also means an increased level of portability. It ships with a gig bag, so you can open the box, tune up, and head right to your next gig or rehearsal. Constructed of solid maple, the bass has a full, deep resonance that cuts and shines to your heart's content.

The state of the art onboard electronics were designed specifically for upright bass, ensuring accurate and faithful reproduction of the frequency output spectrum. Stagg even thought about you wood-shedders and included two 1/8-inch mini-jacks on board. One lets you connect headphones for silent practice sessions, and the other lets you plug in your favorite CD or MP3 player to jam along with your favorite tunes.
