The name Samuel Shen maker of fine upright basses needs no introduction to bass players. This Panormo SB1000 massive 3/4 upright bass with rounded back was gently used and is still in fantastic condition. According to the label it was made in 2009.
Solid wood, hand carved construction with a custom adjustable bridge with ebony adjusting wheels are only some of the features. The Panormo SB1000 has a massive deep body with a massive deep tone.

We just set this bass up in our shop with the best Thomastik Spirocore S42 strings and made sure the string height is low for a fast and effortless response.
We also gave a full ToneRite vibration treatment which we give to all our wood instruments to give them a well seasoned feel.
All in all this is one of the best playing basses we have had in years. With more than 50 basses in stock at any time this one really stands out. It's a wonderful playing instrument with a strong massive yet clear tone. Great for the professional but priced to be affordable.
