Top of the line Shen bass! Sloping shoulders make playing comfortable.. Fully carved, with highly flamed spruce top and maple back and ribs. String length 41.5”; Rib depth 8.25”; Upper bouts 20.5”; Lower bouts 26.25”. Reddish-brown varnish. Includes black leather bow quiver and Cushy padded black bag with straps and zippered compartments for music and accessories. Full, rich sound, arco and pizzicato. Great instrument for jazz or classical. Purchased new in 2002 at the Bass Cellar in Cincinnati (Andy Stetson). Bow not included. Good set up with adjustable bridge and new Zyex strings. Upgraded , sturdy end pin. Certified solid construction with no open seams by Luthier, Jim Knapp (800-963-6526). Local pick up in Crawfordsville IN.
