    Russian Portrait Brooch
    A vintage Russian Fedoskino Style
    rectangular
    shaped brooch.  It has a beautifully hand painted miniature portrait of a girl in traditional dress on the mother of pearl ground. It is set in a white metal mount with double rope twist edge and has a standard pin type fixing.  It carries two hand painted marks ---Fedoskino and signature of artist Popovtseva  around the lower left and right edge.
