This Karl Stamitz labelled double bass is a gamba cornered, solid wood instrument with a nicely figured maple and an antiqued varnish. A well proportioned fully-carved Czech contrabass in very good condition. Makes a great jazz, section or student fully carved upright bass – kind of a 21st century Juzek equivalent!
