This Hi-Performance Motors cardboard license plate was reproduced from the original cardboard plate.  I obtained the original cardboard plate from Lou Spencer in 1984 from his files.  The cardboard plates and frames were on all the Shelby American cars that sold through Hi-Performance Motors in Southern California.  The original cardboard plate was sold for ,000.00.  I have a limited supply of these rare plates.  Also included is an original Shelby American Inc. Invoice billed to High Performance Motors dated 5-5-66.
