Antique Wooden Folk Art Black Americana Dancing Jig Doll

Description

This cheerful little handmade puppet has a domino theme with three white dots on his chest and two on each of his feet. The wood species is most likely cypress or cedar as seen on the bottom of his feet. There is a small hole in his back for the purpose of inserting a rod or stick to animate his motion.
He is in near perfect condition with a few minor scratches, and wear commensurate with age. He stands nearly 8-1/2 inches tall, about 2-1/4 inches wide, and 3inches front to back with arms fully extended. He weighs 2.1 ounces.
