    T
he box is in very good vintage condition. The hinge works well. There are a couple tiny chips on the bottom corners of the box. It measures approximately 4 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch tall. When opened, it has a light odor of linseed oil, an indicator of genuine Russian lacquer boxes.
