Antique folk art handmade Black Americana doll - excellent condition!

Description

This auction is for an antique folk art handmade Black Americana doll from my personal collection. This doll is affixed over a glass bottle/jar covered with cotton. She has very interesting features! Doll stands 13 1/2" tall and is wearing a turquoise taffeta dress with underskirt. Her ivory cotton apron is edged with lace. Black yarn hair is topped with an ivory cotton hat with pearls. She wears dangle earrings, bead necklace, and button brooch. White and black button eyes. Red cloth lips with tiny beads for teeth. She has a sewn-on rhinestone bracelet and sewn-on rhinestone rings. Also, she carries a cloth and plastic chain purse. She is very old but in excellent antique condition and would make a great addition to your collection!
