Antique 1791 British 3/4 double bass by Benj. Banks

Beautiful 3/4 German model bass made by British most accomplished violin maker , Benjamin Banks in 1791. Other than Banks own violin model, he copy Italian as well as Steiner . Heat scripted on the neck heel said Made by Benj Banks Salisbury 1791 , also branded BANKS by the endpin and next to his label. The neck was grafted by another British maker Arthur Bowler in 1908.This bass have been carefully, completely checked , repaired and restored, no small detail over looked. Completely ready to be played. It is a D neck, dimensions are LOB 43", SL 43.5",  upper bout 20.5" and the lower is 25".  Shipping in the US 48 can be carried out by UPS Ground Freight is about 400.00 International countries and other states please email me with the address for more accurate quote.
